For me carpfishing is not just about catching the biggest fish possible. It’s all about the experience, from fishing small park-lakes to expansive wild-waters.
My approach is similar across all fishing situations; look for some structure or variations in depth around likely looking areas. Check to see if the bottom is clean and firm enough to present a rig. Apply some bait and let the carp do their thing.
